It's been a while since I've become addicted enough to a band as to actually want to buy their albums no matter how expensive they are, so it was a real surprise to me when I got so hooked up on this Japanese Pop Boyband, NewS.

It was a few months ago when I was browsing the new media on http://www.crunchyroll.com/ when I happened to come across their video, Summer Time. I thought, "Hmn... a boyband with lots of cute guys singing something about summer? This should be interesting." I clicked on the link and watched the video and just went "Dang! They're all hot asians who can sing! [And when i say sing, I mean, really sing and make you wanna ask for more.]" I liked the video a lot but since at that time I wasn't really into Japan and Japanese stuff, after a while I sort of forgot about them.

Almost just a couple of weeks ago, one of my friends who is really obsessed with Japan [more than me] sent me a message over YM. It was a link on YouTube and she said to me that it was a video of NewS. I clicked on the link and watched the video and just thought, "Hey, I've seen these guys before. They're NewS! Wow, looks like they're really going strong, huh?" Afterwards, my friend sent me the mp3 of Weeeek and I listened to it a few times more. A short while after, I decided to find out a bit more about the band. I researched about them on WikiPedia and even looked up some more of their videos on YouTube. Then, I found one of the videos of their concert. I think it was their comeback concert. It was the video of NewS singing Dreams. When I saw it I literally almost cried, myself! Lots of the fans were crying when NewS started singing and even the members of NewS were crying! I loved that about the video because it really showed how loyal their fans are to them and how much they love them. I mean, really. Seeing the members of NewS like that also made me think like, "Wow... You have to be really passionate to be like this." I was just awestruck! I even went on and tried to find their albums and merchandise online.

I think that what I like most about NewS is their passion for music and the way they appreciate their fans. Lots of big stars out there are big but don't know how to interact with their fans as well as others, y'know. I actually have first-hand experience of that. E to... I think they really are good. I mean, although I actually can't understand much Japanese I was just instantly awestruck by their one performance. I think that if they continue working like this it would be almost impossible to be surpassed by anyone in their lifetime atleast.

Gambatte ne, NewS! Lots of people support you! In Japan and all over the world, I'm sure! ;)

Crap... I found out a lot of things. I got so worked up for them too. I found out a lot of things I needed to know... and also things I didn't need to. It's such a happy yet crappy feeling... Now I absolutely have no idea what to do. The chorus of Akala by Parokya ni Edgar is so right for me. Hayy... In truth, I just wanted to have the talk to reassure myself that it was okay for me to move on without him.... but this is just way too complicated for me I think. Maybe I should just do the same thing he did, ne? Arggh!! Whatever! I will just follow whatever my heart tells me as long as my head's okay with whatever that is. It's so hard to make a love song. Kuya Chito of Parokya ni Edgar, you are so right about the love song, and Akala and also Don't Think.

I've been feeling really poetic these past few days. It's so weird because I'm almost never really inspired enough to right something like this. To me, the more senseless something I make is, the better and for the last few poems I've written.. Well... Let's just say there's a touch of my own craziness in almost every line.  Ha ha! I dunno... I've just been tangled up in all these emotions that I don't even know where are coming from. Well, whatever! I just wanna write away!
